Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Appoints Dean Silvers to Executive Vice President, General Manager, Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits West Region

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer's)—the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced that it has appointed Dean Silvers to the role of Executive Vice President, General Manager, Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits (CPWS) West Region, effective January 1, 2023.

Mr. Silvers, who will report to Gerry Rivero, Executive Vice President, Managing Director, CPWS, will be responsible for leading the CPWS West Region, overseeing California, Washington, Hawaii, Nebraska, and Alaska.

Mr. Silvers has 30 years of experience in the beverage alcohol space and joined the Southern Glazer’s CPWS team in 2011. During the past 11 years, Mr. Silvers has held various roles of increasing responsibility, from Director, Vice President, Trade Development to his most recent role of Vice President, Chains for CPWS in California. Prior to his career at Southern Glazer’s, Mr. Silvers held multiple roles with Diageo over six years.

Mr. Silvers’ replacement will be announced soon and he will work closely with his successor to ensure a smooth transition.
