Computer hardware and IT solutions company Dell (NYSE:DELL) will be reporting earnings this Tuesday after market hours. Here’s what to expect.

Dell beat analysts’ revenue expectations last quarter, reporting revenues of $43.84 billion, up 87.5% year on year. It was an incredible quarter for the company, with a beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and a solid beat of analysts’ EPS guidance for next quarter estimates.

This quarter, the market is expecting Dell’s revenue to grow 51.5% year on year, improving from the 19% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business will stay the course heading into earnings. Dell has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates multiple times over the last two years.

Looking at Dell’s peers in the hardware & infrastructure segment, some have already reported their Q2 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. HP delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 12.5%, beating analysts’ expectations by 7.5%, and Everpure reported revenues up 37.7%, topping estimates by 7.7%. HP traded down 3.5% following the results while Everpure was also down 10%.

Investors in the hardware & infrastructure segment have had steady hands going into earnings, with share prices up 1.8% on average over the last month. Dell is up 6.3% during the same time and is heading into earnings with an average analyst price target of $510.26 (compared to the current share price of $456.25).
