U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones index gaining more than 100 points on Friday. The Dow traded up 0.36% to 36,248.73 while the NASDAQ rose 0.48% to 14,409.22. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.42% to 4,604.73.

Wall Street extended its gains on Friday as better-than-anticipated economic data alleviated concerns of an impending economic slowdown.

Shares of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) moved lower during Friday’s session following weak quarterly earnings.

U.S. stocks traded almost flat midway through trading, following the release of jobs data. The Dow traded up 0.01% to 36,118.06 while the NASDAQ fell 0.01% to 14,338.32. The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.03% to 4,584.11.

MBIA Inc. (NYSE: MBI) shares are trading higher by 65% to $12.15 Friday morning after the company declared an $8.00 per share cash dividend totaling about $409 million for shareholders.

U.S. stocks traded mostly higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining more than 40 points on Friday.
